Banzai Republic was a Copenhagen-based production trio, formed in 2001, with Torsten Bo Jacobsen, Jah Bozo, and Adam Seitzmayer. The styles they blended included: dub, electronic, deep house, ambient, blues, trip-hop and worldbeat. Their début album, “Where The Fun Starts Early In The Day”, was released in May 2004, on Kenneth Bager's chill-out label, Music For Dreams.

Vocals on “Where The Fun Starts Early In The Day” were provided by guest artists and these collaborations remain their most popular tracks, e.g. In My Home (feat. Mahalia Jackson) and Love Throughout The World (feat. Natacha Atlas and Earth Reeves, aka Earth).

In their time together, Banzai Republic produced dozens of remixes, as well as collaborations with danish lounge producers, Bliss, house-meister, Fred Everything, world music diva, Natacha Atlas, and danish jazz legend, Palle Mikkelborg. Their tracks are to be found on over 100 releases around the world, primarily on lounge and chill-out compilations.
